Following the final Monterey Bay Central Labor Council political endorsements
on September 3, we are happy to announce that you have received the unanimous
endorsement of the UNITE HERE Local 483 executive board and membership meeting
for your November 2008 candidacy.  We are the hospitality workers union that
represents more than 1,600 hotel, restaurant, cafeteria, and golf course
workers in the Monterey Bay area.
 
We inform our membership of our endorsements through phone calls, followed by
reminder and get out the vote calls, as well as at least two mailings.  We
also participate in the Monterey Bay Central Labor Council political program.
